About the Products
Test-Um's Validator™ range is designed for the modern day network. Suitable for Gigabit environments the devices allow easy definition, testing, printing and storing of cable results. Supplied as a kit, they are supplied as main and smart remote units complete with Plan-Um™ software as well as all the accessories required to enable immediate use (2 x rechargeable batteries, 2 AC charger units, 5 x adaptor cables, compact flash card & carry case).

- Powerful Gigabit testers representing superb value for money, new Validator NT955 includes new active tests designed to identify switches, routers & cards (port discovery, ping test, hub flash)
- Tests for speed & performance of a cable, it is NOT a device that certifies to TIA568
- All in one kits that test to TIA 568/570 interconnect standards - simple steps to give more professional, productive and profitable installations
- Real time testing of cable performance in certifiying to Cat.5, Cat.5E and Cat.6 network types as well as coax, telephone, audio as well as security cables
- Through Plan-Um™ software (Linux OS) complex installation details can be defined and layed out, cables certified & tested, with results printed, documented and then archived for future use
- Wiremaps to 20 locations at a time; indicates length of cable, distance to opens/shorts
- Performs network cable tests, SKEW, NEXT, echo testing & signal to noise ratio
- Measures quality of signal through the cable against set criteria on cables data-carrying capability in real time (100/Gigabit speeds)
- Features dedicated I/O ports for network (RJ45), telephone (RJ11), video (F-coax) and dual banana (security/speaker) cables as well as serial (print) and USB ports
