Videk OM5 multimode fibre optic cables offer enhanced bandwidth and superior signal integrity for high-performance networking. OM5 fiber is widely used for high-end applications, operating within the 850 to 950nm range. It supports simultaneous transmission across multiple channels and can handle data rates from 40GB to 400GB. Additionally, OM5 is compatible with existing OM3 and OM4 systems.
Each cable features low insertion loss and high return loss, ensuring reliable connectivity in data centres and enterprise networks. The lime green jacket provides easy identification and meets industry colour coding standards.
Available in an LC-LC connector configuration, these cables are factory-terminated and tested to exceed performance specifications. Videk OM5 multimode fibre optic cables feature Low Smoke Zero Halogen properties, with a 50µm fiber core and a 125µm jacket. All our fiber cables undergo thorough testing and come with a test certificate. We offer standard lengths from stock and can provide custom lengths upon request.
